Procedural Animation, from Wings to Legs!
I took my previous flapping wings concept and created procedural walking legs, which looks more robotic and insect-like legs. Although it started off from the previous idea, but this procedural leg doesn’t use trigonometry formulas to drive the walking motion. I wanted to try and create a procedural walking motion without the need of coding the motion mathematically, that’s one of the reasons why I didn’t reuse the sine wave and cosine method to drive this walking motion.
I haven’t finished the project yet, so I won’t get into details about how it’s created, but I was very excited to see some nice results!
