NODEvember!
This is actually the first year I’ve heard of Nodevember, but it seems like it’s celebrated throughout the 3D world. Just check out some of these links and see for yourself!
NODEvember is a personal challenge for all artists to create works of art fully procedural and post them on your social media. There’s a daily challenge posted everyday for you to try out.
#Nodevember Day 01 _ Cookie
— Rahul Parihar (@DoubleGum_) November 1, 2020
This is my first Nodevember. I started with something simple, a procedural Cookie shader!https://t.co/olQJsymD9J#b3d #nodevember2020 @NodevemberIO pic.twitter.com/yRy8AZipdB
Cookie Shader
It was when I saw this Cookie shader tweet by doublegum, whom is famous for creating shaders for Blender on BlenderMarket.com and I thought of Houdini’s Vellum Grains.
So I just had to create a Grains simulation and throw on doublegum’s cookie shader to see what it would look like!
Here’s the same simulation with the only the UV’s displayed.
