3D Generator Madness!
I’ve been SO obsessed with creating HDA Generators in Houdini in these few past months! So much so that I have accumulated quite a collection of HDA Generators that I have made in Houdini. At first, the whole point of this was to create enough assets in preparation of creating short animations and maybe amount to a large enough HDA collection that I could eventually call a small library to assist me in creating short films. This was the whole grand scheme and plan, but I think I got sucked into this obsession mid-way and I just keep creating more and more generators of all sorts.
Houdini HDA Generators I’ve created so far:

More Ideas to Come!
I’m hoping to expand on my recently new Room Interior Furniture Generator into a whole Room Generator. The idea is to have a one node drop down and “poof”, out comes a fully ready made room with furnishing. Imagine how handy that is for game development! Or concept design! Or even visual presentations for online meetings! Or VR environments!
More Clothing! And more accessories!
Fashion design isn’t my strong suit, but I really do want to be able to create more stylized clothing and improve on the Clothing generator I have at the moment. And I want to create accessories and add that to the collection of generators. Sunglasses, hats, hand bags, masks or mouth coverings, watches, hair clips, hair ties, necklaces, rings, and much more to come!
Combining HDA’s to Create More Complex HDA’s!
The Facial Expression Generator and Lip Sync Generator which relies on the same subset of helper HDA’s. The Facial Expression Generator uses the same calibrating Mouth Point node and Facial Deformer nodes which was used in the Lip Sync Generator. This is a perfect example of combining both the Facial Expression & Lip Sync, which are two separate generators together by reusing some of the helper HDA nodes that I made.
