Live Stream Demonstration

In the Live Stream, I demonstrate how the new set of Clothing Generators HDA can be used with the Character Generator HDA to create simple clothing in a fast pace workflow. These Clothing Generators can be used with 3rd party character meshes, but I didn’t get the opportunity to demonstrate that in the Live Stream yesterday. So that will be upcoming in the next Live Stream and next release.

Stacking Clothing

One of my favorite features in the Clothing Generators is the ability to stack various pieces of clothing on top of each other without having the geometry intersecting with each other.

Visualize & Debug

I have included outputs for the HDA nodes intended to visualize seam lines and allow users to easily debug the geometry to see what’s wrong. Make adjustments to the Clothing Generate Patch node with the provided parameters. This speeds up the entire workflow.

Future Features

I do intend to keep updating these Clothing Generators and make more variety of clothing available. Button vests, tuxedo’s, bow ties, dresses, gloves, collars, pockets and the list goes on.

Reallusion CC3

I’ve been wanting to try my Clothing Generators on the character geometry generated by Reallusion’s CC3 and see how well that works out. This will be very exciting, because Reallusion’s generated characters are very high quality and my Clothing Generators provide a UV workflow and with the help of a texturing application like Substance Painter, you should be able to get very nice results.
