In this Tip video, I demonstrate how to use this Procedural City HDA version 3 to generate a very small city and fracture it using a custom asset node.

 

Fixed Bug with Street Lamps

So there was a bug with populating the Street Lamps on to the City Ground, that I found out right after I uploaded the Procedural City Asset.

Upcoming Live Stream

At the end of the Tip Video I demonstrate what I’ll be showing in the upcoming Live Stream where I’ll be using this generated City Asset and plugging it into an RBD simulation. I’ll create a RBD tornado that is driven by the same custom velocity field that was previewed in the previous Ocean Wave FLIP sim Tip Video. The beauty in creating and using a custom velocity field is that you can design your own motions and reuse it in different types of simulations! This creates very different results without recreating the velocity field from scratch!
